How are MBA classes delivered?
All courses run for seven weeks. Choose from two formats:
- Low residency, with online classes offered both live and asynchronously for you to take on your own schedule, plus one on-campus residency per semester. This new option offers you more flexibility while also allowing you to interact with your professors and classmates.
- Hybrid delivery, with half in-person, half online class sessions.

How many credits are required for the MBA?

Is the MBA program accredited?
The MBA program is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, a standing earned by just six percent of the world's business programs. In addition, Penn State Great Valley has a chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society established in 1913. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student can receive in an undergraduate or graduate program at an AACSB-accredited institution.
Does the MBA program offer experiential learning?
Our courses employ experiential learning techniques to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Near the end of the program, students complete a capstone course working in a team of MBA students to analyze strategic issues, develop comprehensive solutions, and present recommendations to executive stakeholders. This hands-on experience combines strategic thinking, leadership development, and practical application while demonstrating students' readiness to take on senior management roles.
Are there program metrics?
The J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School provides metrics on admission data, GMAT/GRE scores, enrollment, student demographics, time to degree, and degree conferral; more information can be found here.
