Curriculum and Schedule

The Master of Professional Accounting requires 30 credits—18 core credits, 9 elective credits, and 3 capstone credits.

  • Designed to fulfill remaining credits and coursework required for the CPA exam. 
  • Customizable program – possibility to have introductory courses waived and choose from a wide variety of electives.
  • Seven-week courses are offered either in-person or in an in-person/online hybrid format.
  • Capstone course immerses you in current case studies to develop analytical and presentation skills.

Students must successfully complete the SARI (Scholarship and Research Integrity) requirement of the Penn State degree in order to graduate.
