Four new faculty members have joined Penn State Great Valley’s engineering division this year: Youakim Badr, associate professor of data analytics; Parhum Delgoshaei, assistant teaching professor of systems engineering; Everton Guimaraes, assistant professor of software engineering; and Partha Mukherjee, assistant professor of data analytics.

The University Staff Advisory Council, which serves the president and administration in an advisory capacity about issues that have an impact on staff across the University, has elected new leaders for 2018-19.
Advisory Board member and former part-time faculty member Chuck Thomas and his wife, Karen, have made a commitment to name the Electronics Lab at Penn State Great Valley. The lab provides classroom and working space for students in the regional engineering – multidisciplinary engineering design option and serves as a resource for the REV-UP Center for Entrepreneurship.
Conference planners, corporate organizations, and nonprofit groups now have access to premier meeting space in Philadelphia’s dynamic Navy Yard business campus. Penn State will provide space for academic and business meetings and special functions, with Kristen Footo managing the conference services.
