The Campus Community
The student population is diverse and made up of full-time and part-time working adults. This prepares students for multicultural teamwork in the global marketplace. In addition students are able to build relationships with local companies for internships and job opportunities after graduation. The campus is surrounded by leading high-tech and Fortune 500 companies in the financial, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and research and development industries.
With our student to faculty ratio of 13:1, students develop personal relationships with accomplished, well-respected, and connected professors.

One University, One Degree
A degree earned at Penn State Great Valley is the same degree awarded to all graduates of The Pennsylvania State University. We are one university and our diplomas read “The Pennsylvania State University.”
Our programs are also accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Many of our individual programs have additional accreditations through governing bodies in those particular fields of study.
Penn State Great Valley is Penn State's only graduate campus in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Scholarship Opportunities
The merit-based Chancellor’s Scholarship is available to qualified full-time international students who are planning to pursue a graduate program. Scholarships are competitive and in the amount of $12,000.

Array of Student Services
The campus offers an array of services including career management support, research library, and a computer center. Barnes and Noble College sponsors a student engagement series that offers students the opportunity to experience cultural activities in our region.
As part of our vibrant campus culture, our student engagement coordinator plans events and cultural celebrations, such as our celebration of Diwali.
Orientation Program
New international students participate in a comprehensive orientation program prior to the start of classes. The program is designed to help each student acclimate to their new surroundings, get to know other students, enhance their English skills, meet faculty, receive a comprehensive overview of life at Penn State and in the United States, and spend time enjoying the Greater Philadelphia region.
