The community and staff outreach sub-committee creates learning opportunities for faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members.

We initiated numerous projects and events around issues or ideas that encourage ecological living while maintaining resources for both present and future generations.

We have:

  • Hosted the Penn State Southeastern Sustainability Forum on May 23, 2018
  • Invited environmental speakers to campus as part of our community event series
  • Partnered with local sustainable organizations such as Master Gardeners and Chester County Citizens Climate Change Lobby on campus projects and events
  • Hosted staff “lunch and learns” on recycling and other green living topics

We welcome your thoughts, suggestions, and participation as we continue to move forward with our efforts to create sustainability-focused programs and learning opportunities.
