Alumni Awards

Each year, Penn State Great Valley will recognize a select group of alumni and friends for their contribution to the campus, professional achievement, and impact on the greater Penn State community and society at large. If you know a Penn Stater or friend of Penn State Great Valley whose commitment to the University and/or community deserves recognition, please consider filling out the appropriate nomination form below.

The nomination window for the 2025 Alumni Awards will open in March of 2025 and close at the end of July 2025. All nominees will be taken into consideration and reviewed by the Alumni Awards Committee and the Chancellor. Awardees will be honored at a celebratory event in the fall.

Outstanding Alumni Award

Honorary Alumni Award

This award honors constituents who are not graduates of Great Valley. Whether their impact is philanthropic, academic, or developmental, these exceptional persons have made significant contributions to the welfare, reputation, and prestige of the Great Valley campus, its goals, and overall mission. To be considered for this award, the nominee must NOT be a graduate of Great Valley, but rather a passionate and valued constituent. The nominee may be a graduate of Penn State University.

If you have questions about the Penn State Great Valley Alumni Awards, please contact Jade Veit, alumni relations and stewardship officer, at [email protected] or 610-725-5333.

Award recipients must be in good standing with the University. For University activities such as commissions and award programs, a faculty or staff member is considered to be "in good standing" if the individual is meeting the expectations of their position and has not been the recipient of recent discipline. The individual should also exhibit qualities such as civility, collegiality, and a commitment to the overall success of their department.
