Penn State Alumni Societies are arms of the Penn State Alumni Association that directly support their respective campuses by fostering alumni engagement, promoting pride, and strengthening connections between graduates and the University community. These societies play a vital role in advancing campus initiatives through networking, events, and outreach. Penn State Great Valley is proud of its Alumni Society and the dedicated leadership guiding the campus forward. 

Alumni Society: Our Mission

The Alumni Society is committed to supporting the Great Valley campus and its graduate students by focusing on four key areas:

  1. Alumni Engagement: Promoting alumni connections and relationship building among Penn State Great Valley graduates, former students, prospects, and the business community
  2. Student Engagement: Leveraging members’ professional and personal experiences to advise and provide volunteer leadership to Great Valley students through events and career services
  3. Outreach and Advocacy: Strengthening our relationship with the local community to identify campus partners, promoting ‘Advocate Penn State’, and managing outward facing communications efforts
  4. Benefit Tailgate Event: Executing a successful fundraising tailgate event for alumni, students, and friends of the campus to come together for camaraderie and connections
