Penn State Great Valley Alumni Awards

The "Diamonds of the Decades" awards are specific to our 60th Anniversary and will only be presented in the 2023-24 academic year.

This award recognizes staff, faculty, alumni, students, or friends of Great Valley who have made a lasting impact and/or achieved considerable success in any of the following areas:

  • Personal career
  • Workforce improvement
  • Community engagement
  • Professional development
  • Philanthropic engagement
  • Research

Awardees will be honored at our 60th anniversary closing event celebration on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Self-nominating is allowed and encouraged.

How to Nominate Someone

Nominations will open on Thursday, October 26, and close on Friday, March 1, 2024. Submit your nomination online here. For questions or additional information regarding the Penn State Great Valley Alumni Awards Program, please contact [email protected].

 

Award recipients must be in good standing with the University. For University activities such as commissions and award programs, a faculty or staff member is considered to be "in good standing" if the individual is meeting the expectations of their position and has not been the recipient of recent discipline. The individual should also exhibit qualities such as civility, collegiality, and a commitment to the overall success of their department.
