The Penn State Great Valley Alumni Society is proud to host and assist with a variety of campus events throughout the year, including our annual benefit tailgate. These events are generally geared toward alumni and students, but some are open to the community as well.
Annual Benefit Tailgate
Each year, the Alumni Society hosts a benefit tailgate to raise funds for the Alumni Achievement Scholarship at the Great Valley campus. This event not only provides direct scholarship support to Great Valley students but also promotes and recognizes local Penn Staters and community organizations through their donations and participation in our silent auction. In 2024 the tailgate event was awarded the Tracy and Rick Riegel Pinnacle Event Excellence Award by the Penn State Alumni Association.
Your ticket includes access to a buffet of food, beer and wine selections, the silent auction, Berkey Creamery ice cream, photo opportunities with the Nittany Lion, and a live broadcast of the game on a 30-foot auditorium screen.
