This coding-intensive degree builds on prior math and programming experience, equipping you to design, implement, and maintain production-grade AI and machine learning systems and infrastructure. Build mastery in model design and evaluation while strengthening your practical engineering skills, including data management, scalable system design, and robust pipeline development for modern AI workloads.
- Develop mastery of the three primary machine learning paradigms used to analyze and learn from data: supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Explore natural language processing, how machines interpret, generate, and synthesize speech and text.
- Understand computer vision, how machines perceive, inspect, and analyze visual information in their environment.
- Apply statistical reasoning, data visualization and predictive analytics principles to collect, prepare, pre-process, and model data, and implement end-to-end data pipelines.
- Design, train, and evaluate AI models, applying best practices in hyperparameter tuning and model validation.

Flexible Delivery Formats: Hybrid or Online
- Hybrid: Combine flexibility with the advantages of in-person instruction on our campus with state-of-the-art research labs. Courses run for seven weeks, often meeting once a week and alternating between in-person and online sessions. Some courses may be delivered fully online. Hybrid courses meet requirements for international students studying on an F-1 or J-1 visa.
