All students, faculty, and staff members are encouraged to report potential issues and concerns and raise questions if you learn about something that might not be consistent with the Penn State Values. The University strives for the highest standard of ethical behavior and seeks to foster healthy and safe learning, working, and living environments for all in our community.
Reporting a crime or emergency: Call 911 or Public Safety at 610-648-3203.
Assistance for victims of sexual violence, sexual abuse or sexual harassment:
- Text the Penn State Hotline at 1-888-778-8173 or report a concern to University Ethics.
- Penn State's Relationship Violence Outreach, Intervention, and Community Education Center supports students who have been impacted by sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, harassment, and other campus climate issues.
- Contact local resources for medical care, mental health support, sexual assault or crime victims.
Reporting suspected child abuse: If a child is in immediate danger, call police at 911 to obtain protection for the child. Learn how to submit an online or oral report of suspected child abuse.
Reporting ethical violations (including academic integrity, bias and discrimination, misconduct, fraud or fiscal issues, bullying, and more):
- Text the Penn State Ethics and Compliance Hotline at 1-888-778-8173 or submit a report online, both anonymous and available 24/7.
