REV-UP: Where innovation and entrepreneurship intersect
In May 2016, Penn State Great Valley received a $50,000 seed grant to expand entrepreneurial endeavors through the Invent Penn State initiative. The grant established the REV-UP Center for Entrepreneurship, a program operating in partnership with the Chester County Economic Development Council aimed to engage and encourage Penn State students, faculty, and community members to generate innovative, commercially-viable solutions to address existing and emerging business and social needs, and to support their entrepreneurial efforts as they serve the Philadelphia region.
Connecting You to a Network of Professionals
As a new entrepreneur, you’re excited to get your business off the ground. But you’re tasked with making difficult decisions daily — from funding, to legal counsel, to marketing, to product development — and it can be difficult to know in which direction to go. That’s where we can help.
We have a unique network of seasoned entrepreneurs, business professionals, marketers, and developers who can mentor you throughout every stage of your journey. We’ll create a personal consulting team for you tailored to your goals and objectives.
You’ll have the option to work with your team in-person or online to ask questions, brainstorm, or seek advice. By using a virtual collaborative tool, you can connect anywhere with internet — and get the help you need without any lag time or interruption from your busy schedule.
Entrepreneurs are eager to give back — and we’re excited to foster a supportive community to help you grow.
