Penn State Great Valley's Diversity Action Council supports the University's commitment to the advancement of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all of its forms. We embrace individual uniqueness, foster a culture of inclusion that supports both broad and specific diversity initiatives, leverage the educational and institutional benefits of diversity in society and nature, and engage all individuals to help them thrive. We value inclusion and belonging as core strengths and essential elements of our public service mission.
The committee comprises faculty and staff and is charged with providing recommendations on implementation of the campus strategic plan initiatives with regards to diversity and specifically in responding to the University’s commitment to inclusion, equity, and belonging. The committee also makes recommendations to the Chancellor to enhance inclusion and belonging initiatives in our campus community.
