SYSEN 5606 Theory and Application

This course establishes Lean Six Sigma principles to equip students with practical tools for driving organizational performance and innovation. Students learn to diagnose inefficiencies, implement sustainable improvements, and communicate data-driven solutions through hands-on exercises, real-world case studies, and applications of systems thinking, facilitation skills, and AI-enhanced analytics. The course culminates in individual project presentations demonstrating measurable results and applied mastery of the DMAIC framework. Designed for working professionals, SYSEN 5606 emphasizes strategic impact, cross-functional collaboration, and personal leadership development to get real-world results.

SYSEN 5605 Continuous Process Improvement 

This advanced module in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification focuses on continuous process improvement through the application of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology. Participants will engage with tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Statistical Process Control, and Root Cause Analysis, while exploring organizational behavior concepts like emotional labor and psychological contracts. The course blends quantitative and qualitative techniques, including survey design, training needs analysis, and real-world project execution. SYSEN 5609: Basic Quality Control

This course equips students with advanced tools and methodologies for achieving process excellence and sustainable organizational performance. Through hands-on training in statistical analysis tools, control charts, FMEA, Design of Experiments, and AI-enhanced quality techniques, students learn to diagnose root causes, reduce variation, and drive measurable results. SYSEN 5625: Lean Six Sigma Customer Driven

Through hands-on analysis of Voice of the Customer, financial impact, compliance frameworks like Sarbanes-Oxley, and practical action planning, students develop skills to identify enterprise gaps and drive measurable improvement.
