Biography
Pornsit Jiraporn teaches in Penn State Great Valley's Master of Finance and MBA programs. He specializes in corporate finance and has conducted research in several areas, such as corporate governance, earnings management, capital structure, dividend policy, corporate diversification, and mergers and acquisitions. His research has appeared or will appear in a large number of journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Empirical Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Financial Services Research, and more.
Dr. Jiraporn is a Capital Markets & Securities Analyst (CMSA), a Certified Exchange-Traded-Fund Advisor (CETF), a Certified Financial Consultant (CFC), and a Financial Planning & Wealth Management Professional (FPWM).
Before joining Penn State Great Valley, Dr. Jiraporn taught at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas.
