Penn State undergraduate students who are majoring in the Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) can take advantage of the Integrated Undergraduate-Graduate (IUG) degree program in conjunction with the Master of Business Administration at Penn State Great Valley.
The seamless bachelor’s-to-master’s degree program allows students to earn both degrees in as little as five years and apply 12 credits toward both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
High Flexibility
You can pursue your IUG MBA studies at Great Valley on a part-time or full-time basis through two highly flexible delivery options:
- Low-Residency includes a mix of live and asynchronous online classes, with one in-person, one-day residency each semester, held on a Saturday at our campus in Malvern, Pa.
- Hybrid Delivery combines flexibility with the benefits of more in-person interaction on our state-of-the-art campus. Courses typically meet half in-person and half online. Some electives are available fully online.
Admissions
Students typically apply in their junior year. The application deadline for this program is the second week of the semester prior to the semester of expected conferral of the undergraduate degree. For example, if you will graduate from your undergraduate program in the spring, your application to the Graduate School must be submitted by the second week of the preceding fall semester.
All students must have completed at least 60 credits to apply, and transfer students must have completed at least 15 credits at Penn State. GMAT or GRE scores are not required.

Advising and Registering for IUG Classes
Before graduating from your undergraduate program, you will have two advisors: your current undergraduate advisor and Dr. Sagnika Sen, who will serve as your graduate program advisor. Dr. Sen will remain your advisor after you complete your undergraduate program and will review your progress periodically as you advance through the program.
IUG students cannot enroll in graduate courses by themselves through LionPATH. Please contact [email protected] to enroll in IUG graduate courses and to submit an IUG report after you complete each graduate course to ensure your academic record is updated correctly.
