Penn State Great Valley to host Complex Adaptive Systems Conference

The Complex Adaptive Systems Conference, to be held Nov. 13-15 at Penn State Great Valley, will bring together researchers from academia, industry, and government to discuss applications of computational intelligence and machine learning methods to address challenges in cyber physical systems and sociotechnical systems.

Students interested in AI invited to attend Nittany AI Challenge Celebration

Students interested in working with artificial intelligence are invited to attend the Nittany AI Challenge Celebration Event from 5-8 p.m. Sept. 10 in Heritage Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park. Students can register to network with AI professionals, enjoy a free meal, get inspired to create teams for the 2020 challenge, and see which projects from the 2019 challenge have been awarded additional development funding.

Rudy retires after 20 years in Police Services

After nearly 20 years of distinguished service to Penn State Berks, University Police Deputy Chief Kevin Rudy will retire on Aug. 31, 2019. His retirement is the culmination of nearly 40 years in law enforcement.
