Penn State Great Valley will host an in-person opening reception for its latest art exhibit, “Celebration of Trees,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, in the campus’ Henry Art Gallery.

Penn State University Police and Public Safety will be conducting its second confidential University-wide survey to gain a better understanding of attitudes and opinions related to policing, public safety, programs and services, and overall campus safety at Penn State.
The event raised $42,500 to support the Penn State Great Valley LaunchBox powered by Penn State. Penn State matched the amount for a total of $85,000 to establish the Advisory Board and Friends of Penn State Great Valley LaunchBox Endowment.
As of Sept. 7, Penn State Great Valley released vaccination rates for students and employees at the campus. At Penn State Great Valley, 95% of full-time employees indicated they are fully vaccinated, including 100% of administrators, 94% of academic personnel (instructors, researchers and faculty) and 96% of nonunion staff.
Penn State students, faculty and staff who are not vaccinated for COVID-19 and those who have not shared with the University that they are fully vaccinated will be required to test weekly for COVID-19 throughout the fall semester, or until they share with the University that they have been fully vaccinated.
In a move designed to limit the spread of COVID-19 on Penn State campuses, the union representing about 2,600 technical service employees, has agreed to follow University requirements for mask-wearing, regardless of vaccination status. The agreement goes into effect immediately.
Recognized student organizations may return to holding in-person activities, including meetings, tabling, and other events for the fall semester. Students are expected to follow all current masking requirements on their campus during these activities.
