Q: How can I schedule a tour?

Q: Are guest rooms and restaurants available?

A: Several hotels and restaurants are within walking distance of the Conference Center. Here is our list of participating hotels. Ask for the Penn State special rate. Free shuttle service provided by most nearby hotels to Conference Center. Catering is optional and provided by one of our local outstanding caterers.

Q: How accessible is Great Valley to the airport and to major roads?

A: Philadelphia International Airport to Penn State Great Valley is 33 miles (approximately 45 minutes). Here are directions.

Q: Is a limousine service available?

A: Yes, here is information on transportation and limousine service.

Q: If there are severe weather conditions, how are clients notified?

A: View our weather policy or call our emergency closing information telephone line at 610-648-3399.

Q: Is parking available?

A: Yes, there is ample free parking and handicap parking adjacent to both buildings.

Q : How early can we arrive to set up?

A: You can arrive as early as 7:00 a.m. to set up. Special arrangements can be made if you need to arrive earlier.

Q: Is the Conference Center open on weekends?

A: We are happy to make arrangements for weekend conferences for large groups. Please call with specifics.

Q: Are there restrictions on the type of events that can be held at your Conference Center?

A: Penn State Great Valley is an educational institution, and all activities held on our campus must be educational in nature.

Q: Is overnight storage available?

A: Yes, but not in the classrooms. We have separate storage facilities.

Q: Is AV equipment available to rent?

A: Yes, although you may bring your own AV in some rooms.

Q: Can important messages be delivered to the classroom?

A: Yes. A conference assistant will deliver urgent messages directly to the attendee.
