Penn State Great Valley offers a Fast Track MBA designed for Penn State students to obtain their MBA degree within one year of completing a four-year undergraduate program. Students completing an undergraduate business program at Penn State may receive exemptions for up to 5 foundation courses and one pre-program requirement from the Penn State Great Valley MBA curriculum*.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Fast Track MBA, a student will need the following:
- Completion of at least three of seven prescribed business courses with a B or better; an adviser will help with course selection
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- An undergraduate degree from Penn State within the last 5 years.
- Completion of a one-semester internship or one-year of professional work experience. A student can apply to the program during the internship or while employed.
- Two letters of recommendation, one of whom must be from a full-time Penn State faculty member.
Students meeting all of the above criteria qualify for a GMAT Waiver. Students who meet some (but not all) of the above criteria, can apply for the MBA program and are required to take the GMAT to be considered for admission.

How to Prepare
Students completing an undergraduate business program at Penn State will receive exemptions for up to five MBA foundation courses and one pre-program requirement, listed below, upon earning a grade of B or better. If you do not take the undergraduate course(s) in the left column, you will take the graduate course as part of the MBA program.
