Cyber Security Courses and Format
- Three required online courses, seven weeks each
- Three-hour evening class once a week, delivered via Zoom
- Optional fourth course, ten weeks long, to prepare for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Exam
Who Should Attend
This program will be beneficial to professionals working in the cyber realm who want to expand their knowledge, as well as individuals interested in transitioning to a cyber-related position.
Students should have an understanding of the roles of the three branches of the United States government and basic constitutional concepts. Knowledge of networks is also helpful.
Cyber Security Certificate Objectives
Students will complete the program with a deeper understanding of cyber operations, laws, and policies. The program will also help prepare students to sit for the Certified Information Systems Security Professions (CISSP) exam.
Continuing Education Units
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded based on a standard of one unit per ten (10) hours of classroom contact.
