Ed Kaercher, PMP, FMP, LSS-GreenBelt, who currently serves as Director of Facilities for CBRE Life Sciences. Throughout his career, Ed has been known as a professional rooted in integrity, respect, and passion—someone who is deeply focused on leadership, coaching, and collaboration and is committed to operational excellence, developing highly engaged cultures and leaders. He has worked within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries for 20+ years where he has supported FDA licensure for several vaccines, built state of the art biorepositories and laboratories, commissioned and decommissioned multimillion dollar facilities, relocated critical processes, and managed world’s largest coatings research and develop facility. Ed has also created departments, led global projects teams, managed facilities and operations ranging in size and complexity, instituted programs and systems that addressed deficiencies, as well as collaborated on organizational strategies focused on people, safety, quality, customer service, partnerships, and continuous improvement. Ed has been an invited speaker for the Project Management Institute (PMI), International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), and Six Sigma and ISBER conferences. Besides his credentials above, he has earned a BS in Biology at Widener University, as well as a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management at Villanova University.
