Qiang (Patrick) Qiang earned his Ph.D. in management science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, his master’s degree in systems engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his baccalaureate in electrical engineering from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Dr. Qiang’s expertise includes modeling, analysis, and solution of complex decision-making problems on supply chains and transportation networks; network dynamics and equilibrium; and multi-criteria decision-making. His courses focus on operations management and supply chain. His research interests include network efficiency, network performance measurement, network disruptions, network reliability, and robustness under uncertainty and their environmental impacts. He is also interested in sustainable supply chains.
