Individuals applying for admission to the Penn State Great Valley Master of Finance or Master of Data Analytics may be eligible to waive the GMAT or GRE.
Requests for GMAT/GRE required score waivers are possible for qualified candidates. Factors considered for granting a waiver include an applicant's quantitative, analytical and communication readiness for graduate study as evidenced by junior/senior GPA from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a post-secondary degree that is equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate degree earned from an officially recognized degree-granting international institution, progressive work experience and/or leadership experience.
Please note: If your degree is from outside the U.S and you are requesting the test waiver, you must provide a course-by-course evaluation indicating the U.S. equivalent of your academic credentials by ECE®. Those with military service may request a waiver.
Applicants who earned membership in Beta Gamma Sigma (the business honor society recognized by AACSB), professional certifications including a CFA, CFP, CPA, FRM, and/or CMA, or doctoral degrees (e.g., Ph.D., M.D., or J.D.) qualify for automatic GMAT/GRE waiver. Please provide the supporting documents in your online application.
If you feel you meet the above criteria, you can request a waiver on the online application, indicating the basis for your waiver request. For more information, schedule a call or one-on-one appointment with an academic program representative.
The GMAT/GRE waiver does not guarantee an affirmative admission decision.
