Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response
Penn State Great Valley has an obligation to provide for its students an atmosphere that protects and promotes its educational mission and which guarantees its orderly and effective operation.
The Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response at Penn State Great Valley is responsible for interpreting and enforcing the University’s Code of Conduct.
In addition to maintaining the discipline process, the Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response also serves as a resource to hold students accountable of their actions.
The Office of Student Accountability and Conflict Response is dedicated to supporting students by maintaining a conduct process that is educational, equitable, expeditious and just. With an educational focus, the discipline process established at Penn State does not follow the same procedures used in courtrooms. The University does not employ lawyers to “prosecute” students. Instead staff work with students in educating them in regard to what is expected of them as members of the University community.
