This three-day course highlights how strong product ownership is key to a successful agile transformation and how related roles typically manifest themselves in enterprise environments. Not only will the course enable you to understand a product owner’s role in-depth, but it will also teach you the practices necessary to succeed.
The course is an interactive workshop filled with exercises that demonstrate the difference between traditional and agile approaches to product management and software development. We will also discuss real-world organizational changes such as managing large or multiple teams, release planning, and tracking progress through the right metrics.

Overview
This hands-on workshop is designed for anyone new to agile ways of working and includes multiple simulations, real-life scenarios, exercises, group discussions, and role plays. Scrum is applicable across industries and teams and goes far beyond the software industry where it has its roots. Marketers, data scientists, human resource employees, and anyone seeking to solve complex problems can benefit from it.
The course covers a variety of topics, including Scrum theory, Scrum roles, Scrum events, sprint and increment, Scrum artifacts, backlog management and refinement, stakeholder management, product vision, prioritization, definition of readiness and done, and more.
The course is taught by Kiran Thakkar, who played an instrumental role in one of the largest agile/Scrum implementations in the world at Siemens Medical Solutions. His combination of business and agile experience brings superior insight and understanding to every class.
