MALVERN, Pa. — Penn State Great Valley has announced its fall lineup of arts and culture events, marking the campus’ 10th year providing the free programs.
The series kicks off on Wednesday, Sept. 25, when biographer and award-winning New York Times reporter Janny Scott discusses her new book, "The Beneficiary," which delves into the complicated personalities of her iconic Main Line family.
Other speakers include Matthew Riemer, co-author of "We Are Everywhere: Protest, Power, and Pride in the History of Queer Liberation," and Nick Buettner, program director for the Blue Zones project, which identifies communities where people live to record-setting ages.
The campus’ Henry Art Gallery hosts a new exhibit, "A Sense of Place," showcasing the works of traditional and abstract artists from the Media Arts Council.
