Course Overview
The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) credential demonstrates knowledge of agile principle and skill with agile techniques.
The PMI-ACP Test Prep course spans many approaches to agile such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP) and test-driven development (TDD).
Penn State University is a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.), and is committed to enhancing the ongoing professional development of PMI Members, PMI-certified Project Management Professionals, and other project management stakeholders.
This 21-hour course will focus on not only the tools and techniques used to better prepare for the Project Management Institute's PMI-ACP Exam, but also the instruction surrounding the different types of methods and strategies on how to take the actual exam. The course will provide the necessary guidance throughout the entire process from applying for the exam, as well as what is required to keep the certification upon successful completion. The class is taught by a practicing professional who has prestigious certifications, subject expertise, and a wealth of real-world experience, ensuring you’ll learn important, hands-on lessons.
Course Scope and Sequence
This 21-hour course consist of: face-to-face lecture, classroom discussion, as well as simulated sample test question sessions. Students who have completed the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Exam Preparation course will be awarded 21 Professional Development Units (PDUs) which can be put towards the 35 hours needed to sit for the PMI-ACP exam.
Who Should Attend
This course is open to anyone preparing for and eligible to sit for the PMI-ACP exam administered through Project Management Institute.
Course Objectives
The object of this course is to provide participants with a strong overview of the knowledge required to pass the PMI-ACP exam.
Continuing Education Units
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded based on a standard of one unit per ten (10) hours of classroom contact.
