Yuan Shi

Yuan Shi earned her Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her M.S. in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a licensed CPA. Prior to joining Penn State Great Valley, she worked as an accountant at a CPA firm and in the corporate finance department of Philips. Dr. Shi teaches courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, and accounting information systems. Her research interests include management forecast, analyst forecast, financial reporting quality, tone of financial reporting, conservatism, and corporate governance.
