Michael Katz teaches in the project management certificate program at Penn State Great Valley and has taught Project Initiation & Planning, Costing & Control, and the PMP Exam Preparation courses. He has over 25 years of management & leadership experience in a technical environment, with the past 20 years dedicated to project and program management leading cross-functional and multi-cultural teams. He is currently the senior director of program management at Crane Currency. Most recently, Mr. Katz lead the IT integration of Crane Currency into Crane Co. Prior to this, he managed several manufacturing move programs between Switzerland, Canada, China, and Mexico. He has also lead several product development programs including two banknote recycling products. His experience is diversified with divestiture carve out, acquisitions and integration, ERP implementation, as well physical site construction and move. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Leadership Development all from Penn State.
