Organizers of the 2025 International Conference on Mining Software Repositories celebrated exemplary research with awards. Penn State Great Valley assistant software engineering professors Nathalia Nascimento and Everton Guimarães, second and third from left, received the Distinguished Paper Award for their work studying the effectiveness of four large language models in solving data science coding problems, with assistance from two student researchers.
