Penn State Great Valley Commencement 2024

On May 3, Penn State Great Valley held a commencement ceremony honoring 435 students who have completed their graduate degrees.

Online Penn State Great Valley students from states as far away as Florida, Illinois, Michigan, and Texas traveled to Malvern for the ceremony. Families of several international students joined us from countries as far away as India and the Philippines. 

Major General John L. Gronski (U.S. Army, Retired), founder and CEO of Leader Grove LLC, and the author of Iron-Sharpened Leadership and The Ride of Our Lives, served as the commencement speaker.

Master of accounting graduate Bolortungalag Mijiddorj gave the student address. Mijiddorj, a native of Mongolia, spent the summer as an audit intern with BDO USA — which provides assurance, tax and financial advisory services worldwide. Shortly thereafter, she was offered a full-time position there.

Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer Colin Neill presided over the ceremony and announced the winners of several academic awards:
