“Stop the Stress” workshop kicks off quarterly series at The Navy Yard

MALVERN, Pa. — Need a way to handle your stress that doesn’t involve yelling at traffic on the way home? Join Penn State Great Valley and Ardent Credit Union at "Stop the Stress," a comprehensive stress management workshop and networking event. The event will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia.

In a culture where being busy seems like a sign of importance, workshop facilitator and life architect Emi Kirschner will offer attendees techniques and strategies to help eliminate stress from daily life, improve health and ease nerves. Learn how to use stress to your advantage, calm yourself in under five minutes, boost your brain power and productivity, and overcome your mental chatter. Kirschner covers it all in her four steps to quit feeling overworked, overscheduled and overwhelmed.

Kirschner is a Board Certified Holistic Health Coach who specializes in stress management. She is the co-author of "Get Results! Learn the Fast Track to Success in Life and Business." She is renowned by her clients for her upbeat approach to coaching and proven results.

This is the first of a quarterly professional development series from Penn State Great Valley and Ardent Credit Union. A light breakfast will be served at the workshop. This event is free, but seating is limited to 40 people. Registration is available on the Penn State Great Valley website.
