Penn State Abington general engineering student designs laser harp

Cullen Wilcox developed this laser harp as part of a course in the Penn State General Engineering with the multidisciplinary engineering design option program. It was demonstrated at Design Expo 17, which was open to juniors and seniors in the major.

StormBot Helps Keep Town Dry

General engineering majors from Penn State Abington and Brandywine developed a mobile robot to inspect storm water pipes in nearby Horsham Township. This field test demonstrates some of its capabilities. The township saved about $60,000 by working with the students instead of purchasing a robot.
