Beta Gamma Sigma

Penn State Great Valley has a chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society established in 1913. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student can receive in an undergraduate or master’s degree program at a school accredited by AACSB International.

Corporate recruiters actively seek individuals who have been elected into membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. Society membership includes CareerCentral: the Beta Gamma Sigma Career Resource Center, and the Alumni Network offer alumni members opportunities to stay connected and benefit from their commitment to academic excellence.

As part of the formal process, Penn State Great Valley will extend official invitations to students whose GPA is in the top 20% of graduates for that current academic year. An induction ceremony will be held prior to commencement where students will receive a key pin and an honor cord. Beta Gamma Sigma inductees will also be recognized at the commencement ceremony.
