Kathryn Jablokow, associate professor of engineering design and mechanical engineering at Penn State Great Valley, is the recipient of the 2016 Ruth and Joel Spira Outstanding Design Educator Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. She is only the second woman to receive this award since it was established in 2001.

Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies has maintained its business accreditation by AACSB International. Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting.

First engineering class presents at Penn State Great Valley's Design Expo

Eight undergraduate Penn State engineering students presented their senior capstone projects to a crowd of 50 guests at the inaugural Design Expo on the Penn State Great Valley campus in Malvern on Wednesday evening. This is the first class of students to graduate from Penn State with a degree in general engineering with a multidisciplinary engineering design specialization, thanks to a partnership among the Abington, Brandywine and Great Valley campuses.
