Jablokow bound for the Beltway as National Science Foundation program director

Kathryn W. Jablokow, professor of engineering design and mechanical engineering and associate chief academic officer at Penn State Great Valley, is headed to Alexandria, Virginia, for a two-year term as program director for the National Science Foundation's Engineering Design and Systems Engineering program in the Division of Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation.

Great Valley study on the effectiveness of entrepreneurial teams earns honors

As part of an ongoing grant from the National Science Foundation, Kathryn Jablokow, professor of engineering design and mechanical engineering at Penn State Great Valley, worked alongside Mohamed Megahed and Pratik Pachpute, two Great Valley graduate students, to study the effectiveness of entrepreneurial teams. Their research paper won second place in the entrepreneurial division of the American Society for Engineering Education.

Creativity exercise led by professor empowers women in manufacturing industry

Kathryn Jablokow, Great Valley engineering professor and associate chief academic officer, and Karen Norheim, campus advisory board member, are working to unify and empower women who work in the manufacturing industry. The two recently traveled to Hartford, Connecticut, where Jablokow led a workshop at the Women in Manufacturing annual summit.
