MALVERN, Pa. — Penn State Great Valley's Henry Art Gallery will host the exhibit "Rooted in Resilience: Artistic Perspectives on Alopecia in Women" from Aug. 12 to Oct. 6. Guests may register for the opening reception here, which will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 5:30 p.m.
Alopecia affects millions of women worldwide, often disrupting their sense of self, identity and beauty standards. This exhibition aims to bring to light the emotional and psychological impact of hair loss, showcasing powerful visual narratives from women artists.
Guests will experience deeply personal, creative explorations of this condition, reflecting both the pain and challenges of alopecia as well as the strength and transformation that often follows.
