Students who went on the trip to Tyler received copies of “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer, which explores the relationships between humans and the land in Native American and Western traditions.

The trip to Tyler was the first event in the campus' new Barnes and Noble Student Engagement Series, which was made possible by a grant from Barnes & Noble College.
