Great Valley to host LGBTQ+ activist Mark Segal

Penn State Great Valley will host “Stonewall: The Riot That Built a Community” on Thursday, April 18, at 7 p.m. Segal organized some of the earliest American LGBTQ+ organizations; helped plan the first pride march in 1970; founded the longest running LGBTQ+ weekly newspaper, the Philadelphia Gay News, and became one of the most important figures in the alternative gay press.
Accelerate to Industry Immersion Week

Program equips grad students, postdocs with tools for finding meaningful careers

Throughout the weeklong Accelerate to Industry: Immersion Week program, participants learn from Graduate School alumni, career services professionals and industry representatives about what it takes to be successful in industry careers. The Graduate School will again host Accelerate to Industry: Immersion Week in May 2024, and interested graduate students and postdoctoral scholars can apply through March 18.

Penn State Great Valley adds Risk Management Certificate

Penn State Great Valley will launch a new Risk Management Certificate this spring. This program is designed to assist project managers, risk leaders and team members identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure that projects are completed successfully.
