Special Agent Jake Archer will share firsthand stories from his work with the Philadelphia Division of the FBI Art Crime Team to investigate and recover stolen art and cultural property across the globe, including his experience helping recover a Revolutionary War-era musket stolen more than 50 years ago from Valley Forge.
Archer is a member of the United States Cultural Heritage Coordinating Committee and coordinates diplomatic and law enforcement efforts to combat antiquities trafficking, disrupt trafficking networks, and protect against the looting and destruction of cultural property around the world.
Archer's talk will take place from 7-8 p.m. Oct. 28 in the Conference Center at Penn State Great Valley.
