Annually since 1999, John I. McCool, Distinguished Professor of Systems Engineering, has worked with the Philadelphia Section of the American Society of Quality to host a half day Statistical Symposium. This year’s program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at Penn State Great Valley.
Emil Milan (1922-1985), a somewhat forgotten but highly influential 20th century American studio worker, is getting more attention since Penn State Great Valley opened the first public exhibit of his work, "Emil Milan: Midcentury Designer Craftsman," earlier this summer.
