In alignment with the recent announcement from the White House on federal vaccination requirements, all Penn State employees at all locations are now subject to a federal COVID-19 vaccination requirement. The deadline for employees to receive their final dose of a vaccine is Jan. 4, 2022
The annually funded scholarship is for current or new full- or part-time information science students who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. Preference is given to United States military students, including veterans, active duty, reservist, and National Guard.

After a year and a half of having dedication ceremonies postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Penn State Great Valley held an in-person celebration to recognize three generous naming commitments for the campus’ Knowledge Commons on Sept. 8.
At this year's convocation celebration, Great Valley honored Minyoung Cheong, assistant professor of management and organization; Richard Wall, adjunct instructor in the management division; Youakim Badr, associate professor of data analytics; and Ashkan Negahban, assistant professor of engineering management for their work and dedication to the campus.
